1. Cancellation rules are service-specific
Cancellation conditions can vary by selected operator, booking option, activity, hotel or villa, transfer, package and travel date. The cancellation condition attached to the selected service should therefore be reviewed before payment.
2. Requesting a cancellation
Customers should contact Meridian Thai Travel as soon as they decide to cancel. Include the booking number, customer name, travel date and payment reference where available. Early notice can help the travel team communicate with the applicable operator.
3. Operator conditions
For activities and other third-party services, the operator's cancellation terms may determine the applicable charge, deadline, refund amount or whether cancellation is possible at all.
4. No-show and late cancellation
A late cancellation or failure to attend can be treated differently from a cancellation made within the permitted period. Any applicable no-show or late-cancellation rule is determined by the service provider and selected booking option.
5. Date changes
A request to change travel dates is not automatically the same as a cancellation. Changes can depend on availability, operator rules and any fare or rate difference. Contact the travel team before making a new booking.
6. Payment status and cancellation
A booking can have different payment and booking statuses. A payment pending or payment-review status does not itself mean that a booking is fully confirmed or that a refund is due. Payment must be verified before a payment receipt is issued.
7. Important notice
Where a specific booking confirmation, operator condition or written quotation provides a more specific cancellation rule, that booking-specific rule should be followed.
